Wednesday Mentoring Coming Fall 2018
Mentors spend time in a one on one setting with a student to provide homework help and other activities designed to build relationships, promote education, and strengthen interpersonal skills, which could include but are not limited to reading together or playing games. You have the option of working with students of a variety of ages from K-12 grade.
After-School Bus Captain
Monday and/or Tuesday • 3:30 - 6:30 pm
If your schedule allows you to arrive half an hour early or stay half an hour late on the day you come out to volunteer, please consider serving as a bus caption. Since CHAT provides transportation to the youth in our programs, having another adult present in addition to the driver helps make the bus a safe place. Mentors must be able to commit to serving for at least one semester, longer commitments are encouraged.
